BLANCA I. DUQUE, B.A.

With more than 16 years of laboratory experience, Blanca work as an embryologist / andrologist in our fertility clinic, joining the practice eight years ago. Passionate about learning, Blanca completed a fellowship in Endocrinology and Techniques of Assisted Reproduction in Valencia, Spain.

She is proficient in all aspects of embryology, including:

• Assisted hatching
• Embryo biopsy and fixation for PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis)
• Embryo and oocyte freezing and thawing
• Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
• Semen analysis and freezing
• Preparation of sperm for IUI, TESA and MESA

Certified as a medical technologist with the American Association of Bioanalysts (MT AAB), Blanca is also a technologist supervisor with the American Board of Bioanalysts (TS ABB). She is licensed in Florida as a laboratory supervisor and holds a membership in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Blanca has contributed to medical publications in Colombia, Spain and Germany.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Blanca enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her husband. She is also a Reiki Master and Energy Healer.
